Crochet Necklace Flowers with Crystals I started working on a plastic ring, then made a chain until the desired length and then go back working in sc and joined to the ring. Make 2 flowers and sew in place. I have used a swarovski ball in one flower, the other has a swarovski drop, to give a special glow. . Materials: Any kind of sport yarn (Cotton advised), US 5 hook, little plastic ring, beads or crystals. Hook size according to yarn. Plastic ring should be smaller than 2,5 cm - 1 inch. No Gauge. Instructions are in US terminology. 1 - 30 sc on plastic ring. Join. 2 - 100 - 150 ch without cutting the yarn.  The number of ch depend on how long you want your necklace to be. At least 25 inches / 65 cm recommended. 3 - 99-149 sc going back through the chain just created, one stitch in each chain stitch. Join to the next stitch on the ring  with a slip stitch.
